CPSL Cup Playoff Game--Toronto Olympians vs York Region

Result of the CPSL Cup quarterfinal, 2nd leg played at Birchmount
Stadium in Scarborough.
6 min...TO GOAL John Matas...Elvis Thomas pushes
a through ball behind defender and Matas slides 7 yard shot from right to inside
of left post.
82 min...TO GOAL Eddy Berdusco...Matas rolls 20 yard shot
that goalie blocks but Berdusco blasts 7 yard shot off underside of crossbar
into net.
Final Score:...Toronto Olympians.....2....York Region

Toronto Olympians won both games of the two game
total goal playoff (Yes the game in effect started with Olympians holding a 4-0
lead not a win and play a mini-game like I reported before).
Attendance was
around 30 persons.
Both teams had numerous chances they couldn't finish
and some excellent goaltending by Shooters Vince Varvara and Olympians Brian
Bowes.
Cup Semi-Finals of the playoffs are to be held at Birchmount
Stadium on Friday September 22nd.

Croatia
9:00pm Glen Shields Sun Devils vs St Catharines Roma
Wolves.
Cup Final will be held Sunday September 24th.
3:00pm winner of
each semi final game.
