The game went on 98 minutes because the Wizard goalie Richard Goddard was injured and down for five minutes when he crashed into an Astro player when they scrambled around in box. Nikola Brkljaca was injured and so was Sanjeen Parmar and they were both subbed by the Wizards. Wizards had played a tough game against Toronto Olympians and they may have been tiring why they had so many injured during this game. Wizards earn the maximum six points from two wins this weekend against Toronto teams. They still have many games in hand and could easily win the League.
Astros had tied the Wizards 1-1 last week in Ottawa. They had enough chances this game to win but were shut out instead. I was informed that Astros goalie Eddie Kehoe had left the team when he wasn't made their number one goalie.
Attendance was about 70 people. I wonder how many people turned themselves away when Parks and
Rec posted on their billboard outside the parking lot that the game was scheduled for 7:00pm? I told the admission desk that it would be better if someone rip those letters off then leave them up there.
