Attendance was about 300 people on this hot sunny day (unbelievable Southern Ontario weather when last weekend I was freezing watching Brampton Hitmen one week earlier).
The shutout was earned by Dino Perri. He didn't have to make any exceptional saves as Roma Wolves played solidly even if they didn't press up front. Many fans were groaning at Wolves forward Carlo Arghittu's poor finishing and bad passes ("he's not as good as before he got married" was an interesting observation).
Richard Goddard was solid in net except for that one miscue resulting in the goal but the Wizards forwards of Kevin Nelson and Abraham Osman didn't look like the league's leading scorers with their few shots blasted wide or high and no rebounds allowed by the Roma Wolves defense.
