First a problem if the game would be played at all. Two teenage girls teams showed up to play to swear they had a permit, the CPSL game had rescheduled this rescheduled game from
Friday night to play a day earlier. Hmmm, because the girls senior team had folded they couldn't just use the time for their junior team. Could the city have sold permits for both games at the same time? Wouldn't surprise me however the girls were driven out.
1st Half:...game starts 9:03pm...YS defend west end. All times are converted from my wristwatch. The difference between the uniforms were minimal and the rain which started later limited my note taking.
6 min...YS Stuart Black chips weak 15 yard shot from right to goalie.
10 min...BH Flores heads out freekick from 20 yards on left.
12 min...YS Migione cornerkick from right, YS tips ball from 10 yards with foot behind his back and ball hits defender on goalline.
13 min...BH Dos Santos fed through ball but flubs weak roller from 30 yards to goalie.
14 min...YS player blasts 20 yard roller wide left.
16 min...YS goalie races out to beat GS player to through ball.
18 min...YS Mazza 20 yard shot from right bounces to goalie.
20 min...YS goalie plams ball across box on high shot from near right side end line.
(the rain which had stopped before gametime, restarts).
23 min...YS Rizzo freekick from 25 yards is low and wide left.
25 min...YS goalie leaps to punch ball out of box on popped up ball.
27 min...BH Ionadi 35 yard midair shot that goalie catches.
30 min...YS Mazza gets partial clearance ball and pops 30 yard shot well over net.
31 min...YS Mazza given short pass and launches 30 yard shot over net.
33 min...BH Adolfo Mella from 25 yards blasts shot well over net.
36 min...YS Michel D'Angelo GOAL...D'Angelo charges through to box to interrupt Hitmen header back to goalie
and he heads 10 yard bouncer into open net to left side of net.

42 min...BH goalie grabs ball in box as YS Marshall almost strips him of ball.

2nd Half:...starts 10:00pm...there is now a hard rain falling but I've found shelter under the gazebo near the sidelines.
[The Hitmen change their uniforms to white shirts with navy numbers so they're easier to tell apart from the Shooters].
46 min...YS goalie has to leap to catch high 55 yard bouncer.
[I spend the next ten minutes writing down the lineups that weren't available before the start of the game].
56 min...YS goalie beats BH player to through ball.
57 min...YS Robert Black runs on right but he's checked as he runs across box.
58 min...YS Jurisic breaks through from 40 yards but 20 yard shot is wide right.
61 min...BH goalie catches cross from right in crowd of players.
62 min...BH Akmadzic 25 yard shot from right is wide left.
64 min...BH Flores cornerkick from left is headed away by leaping defender.
65 min...YS D'Angelo breaks through on right and goalie makes point blank save on chip from 15 yards.
66 min...BH sub...Kurt Mella replaces Adjettey.
67 min...BH goalie catches 20 yard shot.

72 min...BH #6 (who is he?) 35 yard shot is off balance and is well wide left.
75 min...A YS player gets a YELLOW card.
78 min...BH #6 30 yard freekick on left, BH forward header steps into ball and falls or his pulled down.
83 min...Hitmen Jailson Dos Santos GOAL...Dos Santos flicks 7 yard header in box from middle just under center bar after receiving cross.

85 min...Hitmen Kurt Mella GOAL...Mella slides ball from 10 yards into left corner of net as he
receives rolling pass into box.

86 min...YS D'Angelo miskicks high bouncer that bounced into box all alone and 7 yard shot wide right.
87 min...YS sub...Rocca replaces Robert Black.
90 min...BH rolls ball across box that hits post.
91 min...BH YELLOW card...Jurisic for kicking away ball after whistle at center line.
91 min...YS sub...Baldassarra replaces Marshall.
92 min...game ends 10:47 and it immediately starts raining again.

Shooters' Michel D'Angelo missed at least four chances to score.
Attendance was about 10 persons on this warm evening but it rained off and on for more than half the game. This longer report is sketchy as it was soggy to write and I hid in the gazebo for the second half but it was not the best angle to measure distance being close to field level. (I thank the DJs for the coffee, said I'd mention them on here).
Another reason for a bad report, Shooters wear dark green and Hitmen wear navy! Under the spotlights the difference is minimal. Hitmen did change to white shirts at halftime but the start was rushed to chase the girls
teams off. What a fiasco.
The field had been sanded in all the muddy spots from last week and didn't disturb play like their last game.
