Results of the CPSL semi-final between Toronto Croatia and Glen Shields Sun Devils played at tournament site Oshawa Civic Stadium at 7:00pm.
6 min...TC GOAL Ivica Jelic...Jelic chips shot from 20 yards over goalie Adam Morandini on edge of box and shot bounces into net.
44 min...TC GOAL Josip Draganic...Draganic puts 20 yard freekick over wall and into top corner of net beyond leaping goalie.
46 min...GS RED card...Agostino Vaglika for headbutting TC Andy Medeiros while the two were jawing with each other after rough play.
2nd half:

The Aerosmith tune 'Sweet Emotion' played over the PA system at the end of the game.
The referee was Andrew Drajinsky.
Glen Shields finished the game playing 7 men against 10 but they scored the last two goals of the game. I laughed when the Sun Devils defenders would step forward and catch four or five TorCro players offside.
Attendance was about 80 and grew to about 100 as the game went on. I was wearing my parka and had no regrets.
Toronto Croatia earn a berth in tomorrow's playoff final at 5:00pm in Oshawa.
