1st half (Talons defend west goal, very gusty wind, sunny and hot. Talons have sun and wind at their back).
4 min Astros Tavares shot wide from 15 yards on short side as he's being cut off.
7 min Talons McPherson shot through crowd from 20 yards just high of net.
10 min Ball kicked out of bounds on south side of sideline. ball soars over fence and lands on the roof of the high school. That was about as hard to retrieve as the time a ball went over the fence at Rainbow Creek Stadium and landed in the creek and was carried away by the current.
18 min Astro Tavares gets rebound on short side but goalie blocked it wide.
20 min Talons #12 or #13 takes shot from 20 yards that hits crossbar.
28 min Astros GOAL Nardi scores from short side as he takes shot to centre of the net.
Throughout half Talons Roger Garden constantly outrun defenders but is either offside or drawing corners.
41 min Talons GOAL Garvy blasts 30 yarder just under crossbar after ball runs out to him.
44 min Talons GOAL Dominique digs ball behind wall that McPherson had blasted into wall from freekick. Dominique snuck behind all defenders, hooked ball away and one on one against goalie rolls it to left corner as goalie goes down.
ref stops half at 45:09.

57 min Talons Dominique gets tugged down by goalie but no penalty given.
65 min Astro long wind-aided goalie's punt bounces over heads of two defenders, Talons goalie crashes into Kenlock.
66 min Kenlock's diving header attempt just misses connecting.
70 min Astros sub Angelo Espinoza replaces Bonofiglio.
.............Talons sub Odunsi replaces Mason.
72 min Talons goalie makes huge hand save on Angelo Espinoza blast while being ridden off by defender Laineus.
81 min Astros Tavares takes shot that goalie gets hand on. Shot taken from 15yards wide of net and 3 yards from goalline; goalie is right on line and dives forward to stop shot or cross.
85 min Astros Gad Espinosa (hey when did he come on?) takes 35 yard high shot that goalie tips wide of net.
Last minute Talons clearance by Laineus off the line as Astros header by Czalij from 10 yards out.

Final Score.......North York Talons........2.........Scarborough Astros........2

Attendance was 50 and about half of them were Astro fans. Those in attendance received a bag containing a plastic milk pitcher, 85 gram bag of black pepper and the same size of curry powder all compliments of Nicey's Food Mart. The only embarrassing problem for organizers is they'll have enough prize bags for the next two or three home games.

Both the Talons and Astros still have not won a game this year. The Talons had been outscored 19-3 in their 4 games up until today in League and Cup play. Astros had one tie up until today. The rest of the League laughs as a tie gives both teams only one additional point instead of one team taking three and vaulting up in the standings.
