Final Score:.......North York Talons.........0.........London City...........3

Talons seemed to get overwhelmed in the backfield. When City goalie punted the ball upfield there were usually four City players upfield challenging the four defenders. Bottineau had the most chances and had endless energy. City substitute Kadters was built like a hockey player as he was bigger than anyone else and seemed to barge his way through everything.

The Talons goalie seemed to sometimes played a bit recklessly but he was often abandoned by his defenders who weren't picking up the City forwards.

Attendance was about 70. Fans received a gift bag of a plastic milk pitcher, a bag each of black pepper and curry powder. These were left over from last week's game. After the game I introduced myself to the referee who I'd heard was a fan of my game reports from my USENET rec.sport.soccer days. It was true! Someone's reading this stuff. Since February there's been about 225 hits on my WEB pages and I'm the cause of about a quarter of them as I'm checking my own updates for links and accuracy.
