Officials:...Referee Mike Czetanovich, linesmen David Taconneli and Danny Czetanovich. (same crew as last Sunday's Italia vs Oakville game. Ref would do almost anything to avoid giving out any cards but still maintained control of the game).
1st Half (Astros defend south goal on this hazy-sun, warm evening)
5 min..Astros goalie catches corner kick.
7 min..Astros Rajan gets ball through traffic and kicks it high from 7 yards.
9 min..Astros Taffe takes shot wide from 20 yards to right of net.
15 min..City Jonuzi gets through ball but it's jostled away by Astros Marshall coming from well behind play.
18 min..Freekick to Astros, after a scramble in goal, ball booted over net on scissor kick finally finishes their three good chances.
20 min..Astros Heaney on breakaway at midfield rushes in but stops 10 yard line and then fires wide to left.
21 min..Astros Rajan header high over bar.
26 min..City GOAL...Bottineau gets pass open about 15 yards out and scores on kick over outstretched goalie.
30 min..Astros GOAL...Heaney scores on header from 15 yards that goalie tips but can't stop from going into net.
39 min..City Bottineau centres cross to Berry who kicks high from 3 yards.
2nd Half
48 min..City Hillman shot from 25 yards just goes wide.
50 min..City Commisso shoots high from 15 yards.
62 min..Astros Lopez takes 25 yard shot that hits top of crossbar and goes over.
*The big time jump (there was only me and Ennio the announcer in the press-box but we didn't notice that the clock suddenly jumped about 10 minutes until the game was over. I didn't understand why the game seemed to go on so long. All times below are therefore inaccurate).
76 min..Astros Heaney gets shot away from 20 yards that goalie stops and pounces on big rebound.
87 min..Astros Taffe gets shot from 5 yards that's stopped off goalie's side or shoulder.
89 min..Astros sub..Rajan replaced by Drakes (the back-up goalie) who came in to play a forward spot but wore the number 2 shirt.
95 min..Astros Heaney gets ball right to his feet through crowd and from 5 yards out, boots ball wide to right.
97 min..City Jonuzi stopped by point blank save from 10 yards.
98 min..Ref stops game. (however I now realize why).

Attendance was only about 40. This was the smallest crowd of the year. There was no 'paid' gate which was discovered when deciding whether to have a draw for celluar telephones as gate prizes. There were no ticket stubs! The people who were there all had season passes.
