6 min...Cyclones de Oliveira floats 20 yard shot for bar but goalie catches it.
16 min...Lynx GOAL...Caporrella boots ball behind him 5 yards into net after goalie plays cross but he catches ball in his outstretched arms and momentum of contacting Lynx player jars bar loose.
20 min...Cyclone goalie grabs ball in scramble. Also Cyclone Cortes is injured out of play and is treated at sidelines for a few minutes.
28 min...Cyclones YELLOW card to Clifford for spinning around Caporrella breaking out before center line.
30 min...Lynx Kouzmanis breaks along side and centering pass almost headed into goal by Cyclones Rojas in mixup.
35 min...Cyclone freekick near right line centered out to Schmidt whose long low shot from 20 yards stopped by defender.
37 min...Cyclones YELLOW card Charles for sideswipping Kouzmanis outside box breaking in.
39 min...Lynx Dugas boots ball over net from 15 yards.
40 min...Lynx GOAL...Kouzmanis receives ball that squirts to him unmarked on right post. Ball is stopped by goalie but momentum carried it up and over into net.
41 min...Lynx Tilley's hot is stopped by diving goalie.
Halftime Contest: One of the three fan contestants hit the net but not the hole in the board and won a pizza certificate.

51 min...Lynx Tilley gets shot away surrounded by two defenders from 15 yards out wide left.

75 min...Lynx GOAL...Kouzmanis chips ball into net after short pass by Tilley who's being squeezed by three defenders.
The wind from the southeast picks up as thunder is in the distance. A north wind starts and the rain starts spitting. Some in the crowd drifts out and gradually each sign board blows over.

87 min...Cyclones YELLOW card to de Oliveira for descent (?).
90 min...Cyclones GOAL..Ortiz chips ball over goalie from just inside the box
after receiving centering pass. Another Cyclones player had just stepped over the ball and drew defender with him so Ortiz was in the clear.

Attendance was announced as 1055. That is the lowest crowd of their four home games and is worrying in that this was the first of eight Sunday evening games (there are three other home games on other nights.
There were twelve cheerleaders from Monarch Park Collegiate. The mascot wasn't wearing the big cat boots so it was probably easier for him to move around. The big daily newspapers (Toronto Star, Toronto Sun) weren't in the pressbox this weekend for either game. This was the Lynx's seventh win in a row!
