ROCHESTER, NY--The Rochester Rhinos (14-14) downed the Toronto Lynx (14-14) 3-2 on the last day of the regular season to hang on to third place in the A-League's Northeast Division. A crowd of 11,219 was on hand at Frontier Field.

League scoring champ Doug Miller (23 goals, 5 assists) scored the game-winner in the 77th minute. Nate Daligcon, who had scored seven minutes previously, launched a corner kick to the far post. Fuseini Dauda headed it across the goal mouth to Miller, who headed it in.

A Miller throw-in from 20 yards out set up the first Rochester goal, by Chris Kennell. The throw sailed into the box and was cleared back to Miller, who passed the ball to Kennell for the finish. The ninth-minute header was Kennell's first goal of the season.

Toronto's Terry St. Louis tied the score 1-1 in the 63rd minute, receiving the ball at the top of the six-yard box, turning, splitting two defenders and sending the ball into the left side of the goal. Paul Stalteri capped the Lynx scoring in the 89th minute, with his seventh of the season.

Rochester will face Long Island in the division semifinals, while fourth-place Toronto will meet the league's winningest team, Montreal.
