Toronto Lynx win this game but earn only 1 point for winning in a shootout. Impact get no points in this game. The real winners are the other teams in the division. The Lynx really needed this win and now making the playoffs is about impossible.
Attendance was announced as 3013 which is a club record. It was co-owner Bruno Hartrell's 23rd wedding anniversary. The national anthem was sun by Aubrey Mann who is a winning singer at a black music awards show.
