Montreal Impact Academy defeated North York Astros Saturday afternoon,the Brantford Galaxy and St. Catharines Wolves was abandoned and Sunday's Brampton Lions vs. York Region game has been postponed.

Montreal forward Yannik Rome-Gosselin opened the scoring at 56 minutes for the home side when he drove a low shot into the net for his 7th goal of the season following a breakaway and this was followed by a goal from Impact first team player Bonheur Aubey for a 2-0 score at the 81st minute mark.

Midfielder Hussein Awada completed the scoring at 90 minutes, his drive entered the net off the post.

North York Astros lost midfielder Victor Gallo near the end of the game, he was shown the red card following a second caution.

Montreal Impact Academy improve to a 5-8-5 WLT for 20 points and 9th position in the standings, while the Astros lose their ninth consecutive game for a 4-11- 2 record for 14 points and 11th position in the table.

Referee Justin Tasev suspended the Brantford Galaxy vs. St. Catharines Wolves game for 30 minutes at the 19th minute mark when lightning became a threat a Lions Park in Brantford, and eventually abandoned the game as the weather deteriorated.

League rules require a game be played to the interval for a result to stand when the game is abandoned due to the weather, so the Galaxy vs Wolves game will be rescheduled and played in its entirety.

Flooding is the reason the Brampton Lions vs. York Region Shooters game scheduled for Victoria Park Sunday at 3 pm, is called off.

Centennial Stadium 8.15 pm Toronto Croatia vs. Portugal FC
