The VSD players complain of an elbow and Tommy is subbed out but Parmar has it worse as he's bleeding from the head and although play is halted for five minutes so he could be treated and helped off the field, an ambulance needs to be called. Eventually the game is again halted as the stretcher had to be wheeled the length of the field as the sideline is on a hill and is not level to be brought in except by crossing onto the field. Parmar eventually walks to the ambulance on his own.

Attendance was only about 60 people with the poor weather in the day and the rather late start.
The Wizards must have worn bowling shoes as they were slipping around on the wet field. Their passes weren't working and the defense was broken through a few times.
Gus Kouzmanis played a great game and almost had some more goals later in the game. He was the obvious player of the game on the Rogers telecast. This game will be broadcast on Sunday at 2:00pm for the York Region Rogers area. Mr Spielberg, I'm standing with the fourth official taking notes.
