London City shut out on road



 London City lost 1-0 to home-town Vaughan Sun Devils last night in Canadian Professional Soccer League action.
 The loss drops City's record to 2-9-6 while Vaughan moved out of the Eastern Conference cellar with the win and improved to 4-8-2.
 London's best scoring chance came when Janko Stukic was stopped on a breakaway in the 31st minute. Minutes later the game was stopped for 25 minutes due to lighting.
 The Sun Devils' Anthony Vigliano scored the game's only goal in the 66th minute when he broke in alone and beat City keeper Joshua Wagenaar.
 City is back in action Sunday when the team travels to North York to play the Astros at 4 p.m.
 London City's next home game is Friday at Cove Road Field when the squad opens the Canada Cup tournament against Ottawa. Game time is 8:30 p.m.
