Attendance varied throughout the game maxing out at somewhere between 75 and 100 at halftime and then finishing at half that by the end of the game in the rapidly falling temperature.
Astros late season hero of 2002 Guillermo Compton Hall came into the game at 61 minutes for his first action this season. He's still recovering from an injury. He looked good but his timing was a bit off.
Lions dominated the first 15 minutes of the game but later there were stretches of Astros putting in the greater pressure.
Mississauga Olympians manager David Gee was at the game. I asked him that playing all the games on the road means he takes in no gate revenue but then there's no stadium rent to pay. Gee said he's further ahead financially in this arrangement.
