LYNX SET TO CONTINUE ROAD SUCCESS IN CHARLOTTE!
Fresh off their victory in Virginia Beach on Monday night, the Toronto Lynx are back in action tomorrow night May 29th as they take on the Charlotte Eagles in Charlotte at 7:30pm. The Lynx are looking to build on their impressive 2-1-0 road record against a Charlotte team still looking for its first win of the year.
LYNX ALUMNI, BUDALIC TO REPRESENT CANADA!
Former Lynx star, Niki Budalic, has been selected to represent Canada for the first time in an international friendly against Germany on June 1 in Wolfsburg, Germany. The 2002 A-League Rookie of the Year and Lynx leading goal scorer currently plays for Orebro of the Swedish Premier League.
LUCAS NAMED TO A-LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!
Striker, Ryan Lucas, was named to the A-League team of the week for the sixth week of the season for his play in the 1-1 draw versus Rochester on May 19th. Lucas scored the Lynx goal, his first of the season, and continued to be dangerous in the attack, even after the Lynx were reduced to 10-men in the second half as a result of red card issued to Sebastian Barclay.
