ITALIA SHOOTERS ON TOP WITH 6-1 VICTORY

Lecky hat-trick
Italia Shooters’ forward Kadian Lecky, playing against his old club, scored a hat-trick to lead his new team to a 6-1 rout of London City at Cove Road, London, the only game in the Canadian Soccer League Friday.
Geron Duporte opened the scoring for Italia at the 18th minute mark and Lecky struck his first eight minutes later. Sean Meyers made it 3-0 for the visitors at 36 minutes and Lecky made it 4-0 at 42 minutes and completed his hat-trick to give the Toronto area team a 5-0 lead just before the interval.
Duporte lifted Shooters to a 6-0 lead halfway through the second half and forward Mike Sawchuk struck the lone London City goal at 79 minutes for a 6-1 final score.
Miguel Knox missed an early penalty for London City, 11 minutes into the game.
Italia Shooters remain unbeaten at the top of the International Conference with a 5-0-2 record for 17 points, while London City are winless at 0-4-1 for one point at the foot of the National Conference.
