MISSISSAUGA EAGLES DROP ST.CATHARINES 4-0 Carol Anne Chenard busy at Women's World Cup

Mississauga Eagles FC midfielder Ivan Juric led his side with two second half goals to a 4-0 victory over St. Catharines Wolves at Club Roma, the only
game in the Canadian Soccer League Wednesday.

The Mississauga team, from the Erin Mills Soccer Club in that community, looked in command early with a 1-0 lead just two minutes into the game when
midfielder Jose Melo beat St. Catharines goalkeeper Claudio Perri with a free kick from 19 yards.

Tristan Scott increased the lead to 2-0 at 14 minutes, a drive that appeared to take a deflection on its way past Perri into the net, a 2-0 score
at half-time.

Juric struck his first goal at 62 minutes, a shot that entered the lower right corner of the net and the midfielder scored his second just three
minutes later for a 4-0 score that held to the final whistle.

Mississauga Eagles improve to a 6-6-1 WLT record for 19 pts, still in fifth position but closer to being in contention for a top of the table
opportunity over the next few games.

St. Catharines Wolves remain in 10th position in the standings with a 3-4-2 record for 11 points.
