August 6, 2011 CSL--details of Saturday's games (from CSL website)

CAPITAL CITY FC AND MONTREAL IMPACT ACADEMY DEFEATED SATURDAY

Capital City FC went down 2-0 to Toronto Croatia and Montreal Impact Academy was defeated 4-1 by Brantford Galaxy, two mild upsets and the only two
games played in the CSL First Division Saturday.

Toronto Croatia took the lead at Centennial Stadium on a goal at the 14th minute mark by midfielder Boris Tomac, a well-placed drive from 12 yards
just inside the right post and out of reach of Capital City goalkeeper Clint Irwin.

Croatia midfielder Hayden Fitzwilliams made it 2-0 at 35 minutes, a low shot inside the right post and that was the score at the break.

Capital City fought to get back into the game in the second half, but the Croatia defence looked solid and goalkeeper Antonio Ilic handled anything
that came his way for a 2-0 final score.

Capital City player Akil Defreitas shown the red card at 95 minutes by referee Hassane Rifai for Serious Foul Play.

It was the Ottawa team`s third defeat of the season and a repeat of the 2-0 Toronto Croatia win at Ottawa on May 20. Capital City FC remain tied for
second position in the standings, tied with Montreal Impact Academy following their defeat in Brantford. Both teams sit three points behind the
league-leading SC Toronto.

Toronto Croatia jump to fifth place with 25 points.

Brantford Galaxy’s Ferid Idrizovic opened the scoring in an entertaining match at Lions Park in Brantford, a volley from five yards with the goal
coming at the 9th minute mark following a three-way passing play involving Nenad Begovic and Dalibor Mitrovic.

Idrizovic scored his second goal at the 17th minute to make it 2-0 after receiving a pass from Begovic, but Montreal reduced the lead
to 2-1 11 minutes later, a goal from 25 yards by Kevin Luarca and the 2-1 lead remained to half-time.

Midfielder Christian Gomez-Chandia headed a Begovic corner kick into the left side of the net in the 59th minute to give the Galaxy a 3-1 lead and
Mark Reilly made it 4-1 when he took a pass from Mitrovic to beat the Academy goalkeeper Samuel Dufort from six yards.

Galaxy remain in ninth position, while Montreal Impact Academy remain tied for second place.
