NIAGARA UNITED FALL TO GALAXY....Late goal gives Mississauga Eagles FC a 1-1 tie with Montreal Impact Academy

Mississauga Eagles FC scored in added time to salvage a 1-1 tie with Montreal Impact Academy at the Hershey Centre
in Mississauga Saturday night and in one other game played in the Canadian Soccer League, Brantford Galaxy
midfielder Chris Leko scored both goals to lead his side to a 2-1 away victory over Niagara United at Kalar Park.

Montreal`s Stefan Vukovic opened the scoring for the Quebec side when he found the net from the penalty spot
at 48 minutes to give the academy side a 1-0 lead. The penalty was ordered by referee Marie Beaudoin following
a tripping inside the 18 yard line.

Just when it appeared the visitors were heading for the win, Mississauga Eagles scored late, a goal by substitute
Dominik Blachut who beat Montreal goalkeeper Samuel Dufort for a 1-1 score at the final whistle.

Mississauga Eagles played the last 16 minutes short-handed following the ejection of forward David James
by referee Beaudoin. James received a second caution following a hand ball.

Midfielder Chris Leko scored at 42 minutes, again at 57 minutes to put the visiting Brantford Galaxy two-up into
the second half and it was Niagara`s Derek Paterson who beat Galaxy `keeper Melford James Jr. to put the home
side back into the game at 70 minutes. The goal came after James saved a volley from Paterson, but a second attempt
by the Niagara player put the ball over the line.

The 2-1 lead held to the final whistle.
