LONDON CITY VS WINDSOR STARS OFF ..heavy rains wash out Cove Road fixture The CSL First Division game London City vs. Windsor Stars scheduled for 8.30 pm Friday has been postponed due to an accumulation of water on the playing surface at Cove Road in London. Steady rain has fallen in southern Ontario and southwestern Ontario overnight and the game at London was called off at 3 pm Friday afternoon. There are two remaining games to be played Friday night – at Centennial Stadium in Etobicoke where Serbian White Eagles are at home to York Region Shooters and at Downsview Park in North York where the TFC Academy second team is at home to SC Toronto B. Both games are on the synthetic surface and are expected to be played.
