June 30, 2012 CSL--details of Saturday game (from CSL website)

NIAGARA UNITED CONTROL ASTROS

Niagara United were in complete control with their highest score of the season, a 4-0 defeat
of North York Astros at Kalar Park in the only game scheduled in the Canadian Soccer League
First Division Saturday night.

Following some early pressure on the North York goal, midfielder Lucas Folino opened the scoring
for the home side at the 30 minute mark, he took a pass from the left wing to beat Astros goalkeeper
Enea Perego from 8 yards and the 1-0 score held up until the interval.

Forward Derek Paterson increased the lead to 2-0 with a good individual effort that ended with a drive
into the top corner of the net at 51 minutes and Arthur Casupanan made it 3-0 two minutes later.

North York were reduced to 10 men when Davier Walcott was shown the red card by referee Facchini
for serious foul play at 72 minutes and 10 minutes later Johnny Bahdi completed the scoring for
the home side when he found the net following a rebound off Perego.

North York Astros had limited opportunities to find the Niagara net with sound play by Jonathan
Bruggeling playing his first game in goal for the border first team following a spell with
Niagara United reserves.
