YORK REGION MAKE IT FOUR STRAIGHT TO DEFEAT SERBIAN EAGLES....Windsor, London also score victories Friday 

York Region Shooters gained their fourth successive victory with a 2-1 defeat of Serbian White Eagles, 
Windsor Stars defeated Burlington SC 3-0 and London City scored their second win of the season with 
a 2-0 victory over Astros Vasas FC, three games in the CSL Friday night.

Striker Richard West opened the scoring at 22 minutes for York Region Shooters at Centennial Stadium 
in Etobicoke, he collected a through ball inside the box on a breakaway to drive the ball past Serbian 
Eagles goalkeeper Stephan Avramovic. It was West’s 8th goal of the season.

Ramon Bailey tied the game for the home side from the penalty spot at 40 minutes following a foul inside 
the box against Serbian Eagles midfielder Daniel Chamale, called by referee Jeff Fearnall. It was 1-1 
at the interval.

Matthew Rios struck the winner for York Region at 47 minutes, a volley that beat Avramovic from the edge 
of the box, and the score was 2-1 at the final whistle.

Forward Stephen Ademolu, opened the scoring with pace for Windsor Stars in the game against Burlington SC 
at Windsor Stadium, the goal coming at 20 minutes from a breakaway. After showing his good speed Ademolu 
drove the ball into the net from the edge of the box and the 1-0 score held up until half-time.

Michael Pio made it 2-0, he took a cross from the left wing to beat Burlington goalkeeper  Vladimir Vujasinovic, 
and midfielder Ciprian Codea struck the third goal for the home side in added time to give Windsor Stars 
a 3-0 decisive victory.

A goal in each half was enough for London City to defeat Astros Vasas FC at the Hellenic Community ground 
in London, with the first goal scored by forward Branislav Vukomanovic at the 30 minute mark and it was 2-0 
at 80 minutes when Aldin Kukic found the net past Astros Vasas goalkeeper Laszlo Barna

London midfielder Marin Vucemilovic Grgic was prominent throughout, while Joey Melo played a strong game 
in defeat for the visitors.
