EIGHT REASONS TO ATTEND THE RHINOS MATCH By Rochester Rhinos , 09/23/16, 2:30PM EDT The Rhinos last match of the 2016 Regular Season is Saturday 9/24 1. The Hunt for Playoffs The Rochester Rhinos clinched a playoff spot several weeks back, but where they end up in the standings will be determined after Saturday’s match. The team has the potential to land anywhere from 4th to 7th place depending on results around the league. The top four in each conference host playoff matches. The Rhinos will host a playoff match at home IF: The Rhinos win against Toronto FC II. Charlotte loses or ties with Louisville City FC. Charleston loses or ties with New York Red Bulls II. 2. Hall of Fame Night The 2016 Hall of Fame Class will be inducted on Saturday Night. Honorees include the voice of Rochester sports Don Stevens, as well as former Rhino player’s Bill Sedgewick and Michael Kirmse. The men will be inducted during a halftime ceremony and will be available to sign autographs for fans prior to the match along with other form Rhino’s Hall of Famers. 3. First Responders Night Under new ownership for the 2016 season, the Rochester Rhinos have made it their priority to support their local community. Saturday night will honor First Responders and all the men and women who serve our community. A pregame soccer match will be held between First Responder Organizations, followed by a happy hour in the Genesee Brew House Beer Garden afterwards. A family friendly environment will welcome fans with First Responder vehicles stationed around the concourse. Be sure to bring your appetite because at halftime there will be a Donut Eating Contest between First Responders.
