North Mississauga Panthers secured a 2-0 victory after going toe-to-toe with Toronto Skillz on Saturday night.

North Mississauga controlled the pace of the game in the early going as Sundin Esperances and Rahim Thorpe
primarily led the attacking waves at the Skillz.

The first goal arrived when Thorpe (40') intercepted a back-pass to the Skillz goalkeeper, Peter Katsaras.
Thorpe beat the onrushing Katsaras to the ball and hammered a shot past him into the goal. North Mississauga
led 1-0 at half.

North Mississauga managed to control much of the tempo of the second half as well, sitting in wait and countering
many of Toronto Skillz's attacking moves.

The second goal came for North Mississauga late in the game, when Marko Bendenikovic (83') received the ball
from a corner, shaped to cross, but instead curled the ball over the goalkeeper. North Mississauga took home
the victory and all three points.

North Mississauga Panthers will travel to Monarch Park, Toronto on July 22 (2 p.m.), where they will face
the Sanjaxx Lions.

Toronto Skillz will travel to Quinn’s Point, Ottawa on July 21 (3:30 p.m.) to take on Ottawa South United.
