Young Reds Sign Three Players ahead of 2020 season

Toronto FC II announced today that the club has signed goalkeepers Kevin Silva, Eric Klenofsky
and midfielder Luca Uccello to a USL contract. All three players will be added to the roster
pending league and federation approval.
Silva, 22, was on loan with Toronto FC II during the 2019 USL League One regular season.
Last season, Silva made eight appearances and registered two clean sheets with the Young Reds.
He made his debut with TFC II against Tormenta FC on May 13, 2019. In 2018, Silva signed
a two-year contract with Scottish club Heart of Midlothian FC Reserves, where he made five
appearances and logged 450 minutes. He spent the rest of 2018 on loan with Raith Rovers FC
(third division club in Scotland).
Klenofsky, 25, made nine appearances and recorded three clean sheets with Toronto FC II during
the 2019 USL regular season. Klenofsky made his debut against Orlando City B on April 5, 2019.
Before joining TFC II, Klenofsky played for Hapoel Marmorek F.C. of Liga Leumit (the second level
of Israeli football) where he appeared in 16 matches across all competitions. He was originally
drafted by D.C. United in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft. Klenofsky made one appearance for
the Richmond Kickers of the USL during the 2017 season.
Uccello, 22, most recently played for Memphis 901 FC, where he made six appearances in 2019.
Before joining with Memphis 901, Uccello spent four seasons with Toronto FC II, where he went
on to make 76 appearances with 10 goals and five assists. He made his debut with Toronto FC II
when he started against Charleston Battery on March 21, 2015. Uccello scored his first
professional goal against New York Red Bulls II on April 4, 2015.
