(compiled from CanPL)

BOX SCORE:

Post game press conference conducted via Zoom.
(my questions highlighted)

Here's the audio of that conference...(26 minutes)

questions to Jimmy Brennan (York 9 FC head coach)
Your general thoughts on the game?
Was there a reason why you had Diyaeddine Abzi playing on the wing again?
As a coach what can you say to Roger Thompson to calm him down after he caused the injury
to Oliver Minatel?
What will you and the team do tomorrow watching the results come in?
What other changes (besides open play goals) will you be making if you make it Phase Two?

questions to Luca Gasparotto (York 9 FC defender)
Did you notice a lack of injury by both teams after the injury?
Your thoughts on the results?
Looking back at past results is there a reason that Cavalry seems to have your number or was
it just today?

questions to Nikolas Ledgerwood (Cavalry FC midfielder/captain)
Oops I don't have my mute button off!
What do you make of the game?
Did you have the intention of rallying after Oliver Minatel was injured?
How nervy was it for you out there with the game tied later and later knowing you needed a result?
What are you expecting for the next phase of the compeition?
Can you share what was said at halftime?
How much anger and emotion was built into this game knowing you had not secured a place
in the next round?

questions to Tommy Wheeldon Jr (Cavalry FC head coach)
Was this the best version of yourselves today?
Have you heard how injured Oliver Minatel is doing?
Did you still have the belief that you'd get through?
What are you expecting from the next few matches?
Was there any sort of anger on the part of the guys that you had not clinched a spot in the next
round yet?
Was it Oliver's jersey on the sideline that Marcus Haber went over to kiss?
Do you have reason why you do so well against York 9 FC in particular?
How important is it mentally for your guys to secure your place on your own rather than relying
on other results?

Kitty and me made the scoreboard again in today's game. This time at 34:06 minutes. I noticed
when the camera pulled out from it's usual positioning looking down on the field. Wow!
That's two York9 games in a row.
