Attendance was about 100 on this hot evening. There was no electrical power for the field so there was no scoreboard nor
announcements could be made. There was music set up at the south east cornerflag powered with a long extension cord from the
dressing room.

Two first half goals was the difference in this game with both teams having one great chance in the second half.

Some last minute rule changes for the season include that seven subs are allowed during a game but in only five breaks
in the action. That caught North Mississauga head coach Sanford Carabin off guard when he was informed it was his 'last' substitute break when he looked like he was going to bring on only one player. It sounded like the game officials had only heard about the rule change earlier in the day by receiving an e-mail from the league.

ProStars even their record at 1 win, 1 loss while North Mississauga start their season at 2 losses. There's only 12 games
in this season so a quick start is important.

This was an important win for the Credit River Cup, a trophy sponsored by a different supporters group than the Rogue Street
Elite who award a trophy to the best finisher in the regular season. This one is given out to the best team in Mississauga
ie. North Mississauga SC, Pro Stars FC, and Sigma FC. There was one match last week. ProStars hosted Sigma and lost 3-1.
This competition could only have taken place because of the last minute realignment of the conferences dividing between East
and West that puts the three teams in the Western Conference and a home and away between each team. Weeks before there was
to be four mini-conferences of four teams each because of the pandemic so travelling would be kept to a minimum. ProStars
wouldn't have been in the same conference as the two others.
