with Dundee FC.

Toronto, ON (June 1, 2021) – York United Football Club can confirm defender Dominick Zator
and winger Nicholas Hamilton have returned to the club following their recent loan spells
in Sweden and Scotland respectively.

Zator arrived at Swedish second-tier side Vasalunds IF in February and after featuring prominently
throughout a busy pre-season schedule, he subsequently enjoyed an impressive league stint once
the campaign began in mid-April. Overall, he appeared in five of the team's nine Superettan fixtures
so far and racked up 239 minutes of competitive action. Fittingly, in his final outing against
Osters, Vasalunds kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 win.

“This has been a great experience for both players," says York United FC CEO/President & GM, Angus McNab.

"Dom has gotten significant minutes and been working hard when he’d otherwise have been shut down
and unable to train. From chatting to him regularly, I know that he loved his time at Vasalunds
and it was fantastic he could play 90 minutes and sign off with a clean sheet in his final appearance.”

The Vasalunds IF team give Dominick Zator a fitting send-off at his final training session.
Meanwhile, Hamilton signed for Scottish Championship outfit Dundee FC last September and rallied to make
a significant impression in difficult circumstances. With a delay in his work permit owing
to the Covid-19 situation, the Jamaican attacker missed out on The Island Games last August which ensured
a prolonged period of inactivity. As a result, his initial time at Dens Park was spent building up
his match fitness and despite making his competitive debut in a League Cup clash against Cove Rangers,
his time on the pitch was restricted.

Still, it proved an incredibly memorable time for the 25-year-old with the club having finished
the campaign in second place and ensuring promotion to the top-flight with a play-off victory
over Kilmarnock. As a result, Dundee boss James McPake was named Championship Manager of the Year.

“With Nicholas it has been tough but he’s learnt a lot," says McNab.

"Context is always important in these situations and he’s been thrown into an environment having coming
off a long period of inactivity. He was also experiencing a full-time and elite situation for the very
first time. Most importantly, the staff at Dundee have looked after him fantastically well and you can
see from the pictures of the promotion celebrations that he’s built some great friendships with his
teammates there. I’m sure we get him back a better and fitter player.”

“Nicholas has his visa being processed right now in the UK (his passport is in the hands of officials
to be stamped). Once that step has been completed, he will fly to Canada and start his mandated
quarantine upon arrival. Once that's done, he will join the squad and get to finally immerse himself
in our club.”
