YORK UNITED SIGNS GOALKEEPER ELEIAS HIMARAS AS PRIMARY ROSTER ADDITION Nathan Ingham is nursing
an injury and is not with the squad ahead of clash with HFX Wanderers.

York United FC has signed 19-year-old goalkeeper Eleias Himaras as a primary roster addition ahead
of Saturday afternoon's clash away to HFX Wanderers, as Nathan Ingham continues to nurse
an abductor injury picked up in the midweek league win over Forge FC.

Ingham, who saved a first-half penalty during the first-half, was replaced by Niko Giantsopoulos
at the interval on Wednesday night and did not travel with the squad when they left for Halifax
late Thursday.

Himaras, a native of London, ON, joined the Toronto FC Academy in 2018 and was named in Canada's
squad for the Under-17 FIFA World Cup in Brazil the following year, starting the team's final group
game against New Zealand.

He has previously been included in the TFC II squad for USL fixtures, along with current York United
players Terique Mohammed and Jordan Faria.

“Eleias is a player we’ve been chatting about for a while and had hoped to have him in to train with
us following our return from Winnipeg," says Angus McNab, the club's President/CEO & GM.

"It’s a good opportunity for him to see what we are about and get some work done with Camillo
(Benzi, the club's goalkeeping coach) and Niko up in Halifax.”
