MAX FERRARI NOMINATED FOR CPL UNDER-21 PLAYER OF THE YEAR
It was an outstanding season for the midfielder.
York United FC's Max Ferrari has been shortlisted for the Canadian Premier League's Under-21
Player of the Year.

The winger enjoyed a magnificent 2021 campaign and appeared in every one of the club's 29 fixtures,
starting 28 of them. In total, he racked up 2,339 minutes of action, scored twice and added four assists.

But Ferrari, a native of Newmarket, ON, also showed some astonishing flexibility and adaptability.
Throughout the season, the team suffered various injuries and suspensions and the 21-year-old was tasked
with operating as a right-back. Later, he slotted in as an emergency left-back too with minimum fuss.
His performances have led to widespread praise and The Nine Stripes had little hesitation in extending
Ferrari's services until 2024.

"If Max continues to progress at the same rate and perform as he is then I find it impossible to believe
he won’t continue to attract interest from other clubs in North America and Europe," said Angus McNab,
York United FC's CEO/President & GM.

Ferarri is nominated along with Pacific FC's Alessandro Hojabrpour and Victor Loturi from Cavalry FC
and the winner will be announced on Tuesday, December 14th.
