YORK UNITED FC ANNOUNCES ANTHONY TOTERA AS LEAD DOMESTIC SCOUT AND HEAD OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

A highly-regarded figure within the domestic game, Totera joins from the CPL's Football Operations
Department.

York United FC is thrilled to announce the appointment of Anthony Totera as Lead Domestic Scout
& Head of Community Engagement.

An immensely well-known and highly-regarded figure within the domestic game, Totera joins from
the Canadian Premier League’s Football Operations Department where he served as Football Development
& Special Projects Liaison. The role saw Totera specialize in talent identification and the
shortlisting of players, specifically across the CPL's initial 'Got Game' program and also the
comprehensive and invaluable U Sports draft that's been in place since 2018.

Reporting to CEO/President and GM Angus McNab, Totera begins his work with The Nine Stripes
effective immediately.

“Anthony has been a huge figure in the Canadian soccer community for many years and I am very happy
he has chosen to bring his experience to our club," McNab says.

"His knowledge of both the university and collegiate landscapes will be crucial to us but he will
also focus much of his time bringing our players into the community to inspire youngsters right
across the Greater Toronto Area. Early next year, the club will release details of future community
events and performance camps that our players will be attending."
