YORK UNITED FC ANNOUNCES ROSTER UPDATES AHEAD OF 2022 SEASON

18 players are already confirmed for next year's CPL campaign.

York United FC has today announced several roster updates ahead of the 2022 Canadian Premier League
campaign.

Contract options for midfielders Sebastian Gutierrez and Jordan Wilson plus defender Chrisnovic N’Sa
have been taken/triggered by their performances last season.

Goalkeeper Niko Giantsopoulos, defenders Dominick Zator, Roger Thompson, Diyaeddine Abzi and Felix N’sa,
midfielders Noah Verhoeven, Cedric Toussaint, Isaiah Johnston and Max Ferrari and attackers Lowell Wright,
Michael Petrasso and recent signing Mamadou Kane are all under contract for 2022.

Argentine duo Mateo Hernandez and Lisandro Cabrera - both signed in late-2020 but unable to participate
in the 2021 season due to visa delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic - are also under contract for 2022.
The pair spent the past campaign on loan with Atletico Pantoja in the Dominican Republic before later
joining Guadalupe FC in Costa Rica.

Another signing in late-2020 was Brazilian winger William Wallace. Similarly, he was unable to travel
to Canada for the 2021 CPL season and was loaned to Floresta Esporte Clube in his native country instead.
He remains under contract with York United for 2022 and all three international players are excited
to finally arrive at the club and get to work.

Options were declined for Osvaldo Ramirez, Gerard Lavergne, Alvaro Rivero, Julian Ulbricht,
Nicholas Hamilton and Jordan Faria. We thank them all sincerely for their contributions and wish them well.

As previously disclosed, goalkeeper Nathan Ingham is out of contract and departs The Nine Stripes
while defender Ryan Lindsay has decided to take a break from football and focus on his health after
missing all of last term with a medical condition.

Matteo Campagna’s loan is completed and the defender now rejoins the Vancouver Whitecaps while
Muslim Umar’s development permit has also expired and he returns to his youth club.

The club remains in discussions with Ijah Halley and Javier George regarding next season.
