Toronto FC announced today that the club has signed defender Adam Pearlman to a short-term loan
agreement from Toronto FC II.

Per MLS rules, the short-term agreement allows clubs to sign a player on loan from their MLS NEXT Pro
affiliate for MLS, U.S. Open Cup, CONCACAF Champions League, Canadian Championship
and exhibition matches.

Pearlman, 17, has made five appearances in his first season with Toronto FC II. He signed his
first professional contract with TFC II on April 8, 2021, and made his debut with the Young Reds
against New York City FC II on April 10. He represented Toronto FC Academy in Ontario Player
Development League and U.S. Soccer Development Academy across the U-12 to U-19 age groups
from 2016 to 2021. He also participated in the U-13 2018 CONCACAF Champions League with
the TFC Academy in Toluca, Mexico. He originally joined the Toronto FC Academy in October 2016.
