(recorded by Rocket Robin)

All the audio from the post game press conference after the CPL (regular season game) game
of Friday June 9, 2023 between York United FC and Atletico Ottawa played at York Lions Stadium at 7:30pm.

If I ask the question it's in bold lettering.

Atletico Ottawa defender Karl Ouimette

post game audio of Karl Ouimette and Carlos Gonzalez (9 minutes, 17 seconds)

for Karl Ouimette:
Your thoughts on the game as a whole?
What are your thoughts on the league's organization and promotion of Pride events?
Why has this team beaten you twice when you tie almost everybody else?

Atletico Ottawa head coach Carlos Gonzalez

questions for Carlos Gonzalez start at about 4 minutes, 30 seconds.
Your overall thoughts on your hard luck in the game?
Your problems tonight with not being able to finish plays in the box?
Was there ever plans tonight to change your game plan when you saw things that worked and didn't work?
Was there less pressure after winning your first home game that you played any different tonight?
Was the bad luck of hitting three goalposts maybe bounce in for you next game?

York United FC head coach Martin Nash

post game audio of Martin Nash (11 minutes, 47 seconds)

Questions for Martin Nash:
Your thoughts overall on this game?
Were you able to create a bit more after you brought Michael Petrasso in at 60 minutes?
How important is it that Ozase scored his first goal of the season for his confidence?
What does the Pride Night mean for this club?
Both sides making turnovers, what were your thoughts on giving up so many shots?
Was the positioning of Paris Gee and Max Ferrari meant to counter the Ottawa offence?
Where have you seen the progress of Roger Thompason helping the team?
Is it a sigh of relief to have so many healthy players and a deeper squad?
How do you see Jeremy Gagnon-Lapare helping Paris Gee?
Although it was Pride night but how much notice did the five players who didn't want to play give you so you could fill
out your roster with call ups?

The joy of being in first place for the moment?
What kind of statement does it put out grinding out a win without four regulars?
Do you have a sense of now being able to make the playoffs easily?

York United FC defender Paris Gee

past game audio of Paris Gee (7 minutes, 8 seconds)

questions for Paris Gee:
How confident is the team right now going five games unbeaten?
Tell us how it was with your teammates playing different positions?
What was it like to play up further in the field?
When you went down a few times in the game, were the injuries minor?
What is the mood of the team at this point in the season?
What are your thoughts on the Pride Night celebrations from the team?
Do you have a favourite position or do you like the variety?
How much relief do you see from Osaze De Rosario getting his first game?
What was the biggest benefit of playing with Jeremy Gagnon-Lapare tonight?
Can you play as a striker?
Has the team reached the point where you feel you can reach even higher in your play?

+++Hey and as this press conference ended just before 10:30pm, it's true the stadium lights
began to shut off meaning that Toronto FC II were right in saying there was a curfew.
Of course because of a flight delay of their opponents last Sunday night flying in from Orlando
pushing their game back to 9:00pm. Their game suddenly ended at the 70 minute mark within
seconds of their player Jesus Batiz scoring to make it 3-0. Hey Jesus scores and the lights go out!
I expect they were caught off guard as they never thought that would happen. Only thing is they made
their fans stay around over an hour without any announcements before finally sending them home!
The team was just lucky that Grandpa didn't fall down a dark staircase unseen because the TFC grounds crew
all had gone out on the field to play kick-around rather than assist any confused fans.
