had gone through the box and is tackled by sliding TFC Antone Bossenberry. Robertson gets up and turns around
Bossenberry and sends ball upfield on right that finds Cht Peter Plougmand who receives it at center line and dribbles
to middle to avoid TFC Ythallo and Micah Chisholm on each side of him. Plougmand rolls pass to left for charging Kwak
in open who runs downfield with only TFC Marko Stojadinovic to beat. Kwak runs forward cutting towards middle
and on edge of 18 yard box, slows and shoots low around Stojadinovic at 15 yards and into right corner of net beyond
the reach of the flying goalie.

Attendance was only about 150 tonight with about 40 traveling fans cheering for Chattanooga. Their fan group are The Chattahooligans but they are friendly hecklers of the referee and TFC players. The weather was mild but cooling quickly and I'd brought a winter coat to wear and was glad I had it by the time the game ended. I expect even the TFC soccer parents stayed home to watch the Maple Leafs on television away in Florida for two playoff games this weekend including one at exactly the time this game started. Last season there were a few hundred visitors I remember but that game was on a Sunday afternoon when more fans could get here. The MLS team probably would have liked that again too as they have game downtown tomorrow afternoon against D.C. United and now they can't use the players they've tired out tonight. A lot less Sunday afternoons this season as the new AFC Toronto women's team in the Northern Super League has a lot of the prime times along with other co-tenants York United FC of the Canadian Premier League pushing TFC II and their maximum 250 fans to less popular times. It was strange to hear the almost identical sounding chants of “Tee Eff Cee” with “Cee Eff Cee” by each of the opposing fan groups. TFC applied a lot of pressure from 80 minutes until the end which included four minutes of added time. Nail biting! Any MLS 'B' or 'II' team opponents probably would have caved or given up a handball but Chattanooga players were cool in their own box with key headers, over their head reverse kicks and clearances. Maybe ten more minutes and TFC could have tied and even won but that raises the point about why they hadn't started this frantic action ten minutes sooner. Chattanooga came into this game as the first place team and after tonight have only given up nine goals in nine games. Referee Thomas Noel gave out only four Yellow cards (two to each team) in an at times a very open game. Complaints from both benches but that happens every game. One of the Chattanooga cards was to a member of the coaching staff as pointed out by the fourth official for constant complaining about the officiating. Chattanooga are one of the two independent teams in MLS NEXT Pro at this time meaning they are not the 'development team' of any of the MLS teams. That number will increase next season as the league continues to expand and tries to cut off markets to the rival USL Championship and all its development leagues. Chattanooga was founded in 2009 but played in other leagues until last year. Last season they came here and pounded TFC II 5-1. The only meeting was their first time away when TFC eventually lost the shootout but gained a point with a 92 minute goal by Luca Accettola who is no longer with the team. That name sounded familiar so I looked and found he is signed with CPL York United FC and I saw him on the bench only two weekends ago. He was drafted by York United from in the U-Sports draft this year where he was a student at York University (one reason for leaving TFC) that play their games here. By the time I got home all the Eastern Conference games were over and there were four tonight leaving only two more for the rest of the weekend. The loss tonight drops TFC's record to 3 wins, 3 losses, 2 ties, 0 shoot-out-wins for 11 points. That's good for a tie for eighth place with Orlando City B in the fifteen team East. Chattanooga's record improves to 6 wins, 1 loss, 2 ties, and 1 s-o-w for 21 points. They stay in first place and open up more of a lead on some of the teams behind them.
