Here are the results of the Canadian National Soccer League (CNSL) up
to Sunday September 17th, 1995. The season is rapidly winding down in
both the League and Cup competition.

First place team at the end of the schedule wins the Championship. A
Top 4 finish gets into a playoff for another trophy.
The Astros have all but eliminated themselves from competition as just
a few weeks ago they had 4 points in 3 games but they've cooled off.

Object of this competion is to finish in the top two spots so as to
gain a berth in the Cup Final (not sure if it's one or two games).
Jets can still make it to number two but one week on Soccer Canada
(The Fan 590 radio Sunday at 10:30am) they announce Jets would have to
score five goals and this Sunday they say they'd have to win by two
goals!
Overall I'd say the Wolves are the hottest team right now and I can
see them doing the three trophy sweep.

(make up for Monday August 14th game. Italia will actually
be considered the HOME team in this game although it will be played at
Esther Shiner Stadium; regular home of the Jets)

places at once so I'll try and catch the Jets game).
